Awake From Keyboard is a participatory, community-based online clothing shop (currently only offering T-shirts) that selects designs from a range of artists with the aim of preserving a “cyber-internet” aesthetic.

When we say participatory and community, we mean that we have a participatory process in the creation of our t-shirts which allows us to involve artists from all over the world to create their own designs and submit them to the community vote so that they appear on the site and win prizes, all this in order to embrace the initial vision of the internet which is sharing and ‘open-source’.

The goal of the shop is to fund think-tank and large-scale propaganda projects. Through this, we are also fighting against the aesthetic, stylistic — and therefore behavioral — standardization that has invaded the world for over twenty years.
